On the Aniane road, La Pourpre et les Oliviers, run by chef Calixte and his team, is hidden away in one of the modern houses recently built at the entrance to the village. The huge dining room, which is tastefully decorated in a classic style, is well-lit by large French windows which give onto the garden. The cuisine is varied and smacks of the Mediterranean garrigue and local produce. To start, a creamy mussel soup with saffron or an exotic gaspacho with crayfish. Continue with a roulade of pork with pistou (the French version of Italian pesto) or pan-fried fresh crayfish. The just as tempting desserts include warm almond cake with ginger ice-cream or chocolate soufflé with pistachio ice-cream. The wine list features a good selection of local wines.

Le Jardin aux Sources à Brissac

Surounded by vines and greenery, this former stagecoach post has been transformed into a restaurant. The chef, Jerôme Villod-Morel, proposes a gastronomic and creative style of cuisine, based on local produce. In the vaulted dining room, decorated  in Mediterranean colours, or out on the terrace opposite the vines, you can taste inventive seasonal recipes designed to titillate the palate : roast squid with duck and seasonal herbs, lightly pan-fried foie gras with girolles mushrooms, fresh nougat of dark chocolate with a grape charlotte… The wine list offers a very interesting selection, with over 50 Languedoc wines.
